According to the Khovar News Agency, the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan announced that it will hold a press conference at 10:00 AM local time on December 4th to report on preparations for the Second International Mining and Metallurgy Forum, scheduled to be held in Dushanbe on December 9th, 2025. The forum, supported by the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, aims to advance the country's fourth strategic goal, centered on accelerating industrialization, support sustainable industrial development, restore and expand regional cooperation ties, and actively promote cooperation and partnerships in the industrial sector.

During the forum, experts in the mining and metallurgical fields will discuss a range of topics, including the development prospects of the domestic market, technological innovation in mineral exploration and processing equipment, and sustainable development technologies.

It is reported that the forum will feature thematic sessions on geology, investment, industry, and metallurgy. It should be noted that the growth in Tajikistan's total industrial output is mainly attributed to increased production in the mining, processing, waste management, and recycled materials production sectors.

Previously, the country's inaugural Mining and Metallurgical Investment Forum, held in 2024, has become a landmark event in the field. Such forums provide an efficient platform for industry experts to exchange views and professional experience, jointly explore the development prospects of the domestic mining and metallurgical market, and discuss innovations in mineral exploration, processing equipment, and technologies.
