QING Min
Chief Geological Counselor and Professor-level Senior Engineer

Dr. Qing possesses a systematic and comprehensive geological education background, holding a Ph.D. from China University of Geosciences (Beijing) and having completed postdoctoral research at the Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. As a visiting scholar sponsored by the China Scholarship Council, Qing has conducted academic exchanges at the University of Tasmania in Australia, gaining a broad international perspective.

International geological investigation experience

Dr. Qing possesses a truly global mindset, since he has conducted field investigations and academic exchanges in key metallogenic belts around the world multiple times.

· In 2006, Qing conducted mineral geological investigations in Russia’s Siberia, Egypt, and Türkiye.

· In 2012, Qing participated in the Brisbane International Mining Congress in Australia and investigated the gold deposit in Southern Australia.

· During his visiting scholar period in Australia from 2013 to 2014, Qing systematically investigated gold and lead-zinc mineral deposits in Tasmania and Western Australia.

Core specialized technical achievements

Dr. Qing has long been dedicated to regional mineralization prediction for precious and non-ferrous metal minerals, as well as near-mine exploration in depleted districts, achieving remarkable practical results.

· Major mineral exploration breakthroughs:

Discovered the mineral belt II in the Bilihe Gold Deposit in Inner Mongolia, and submitted a detailed survey report on a large-scale gold deposit (gold reserves of 21 metric tons), successfully transforming a small-scale mine nearing depletion into a large-scale gold enterprise, and generating significant economic and social benefits.

An array of breakthroughs have been achieved in the exploration of replacement resources at 12 depleted districts, including the Yu’erya Gold Deposit in Hebei, the Yu-Shaan Xiaoqinling Gold Deposit, and the Xiaoshan Gold Deposit in Henan. Verified results indicate that over 100 metric tons of new gold reserves have been added, significantly extending the mines’ service life and ensuring their sustainable development and regional stability.

· Scientific research and project management:

Led and undertook over 30 production and scientific research projects commissioned by national ministries and commissions, enterprises, and public institutions.

Among these, 8 significant achievements received provincial (ministerial) science and technology awards.

· Extensive academic works:

Authored and published 2 monographs, including “Theory and Technical Methods for Exploration of Replacement Resources in Endangered Gold Mines and Prospecting Demonstration” and “China’s Gold Resources and Exploration Deployment”.

Co-authored 4 significant works, including “Evaluation of China’s Gold Mineral Resource Potential” and “Typical Gold Deposits in China”.

Published over 30 papers as first author in core journals such as “Acta Petrologica Sinica”, “Mineral Deposits”, and “Contributions to Geology and Mineral Resources Research”, alongside a total of over 60 co-authored academic papers.

Major technical honors and social recognition

Dr. Qing has received numerous top honors from both national and military systems for his prominent contributions, while being widely recognized as a leading figure in his professional field.

· Recipient of the State Council Special Government Allowance (2007)

· National-level candidate in the “National Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talent Project” (Selected jointly by 9 ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security in 2009)

· “National Outstanding Science and Technology Research Worker” by the China Association for Science and Technology (2010)

· “Model of Dedication to Duty and Commitment to Military Excellence Throughout the Armed Force” by the former four general departments of the People’s Liberation Army of China (2010)

· “Advanced Collective in Mineral Exploration for Depleted Districts” (Head) by the former Ministry of Land and Resources (2011)

· Top Talent in High-Level Scientific and Technological Innovation Disciplines of the People’s Liberation Army of China (2014)

· First batch of “the Most Outstanding Geological Workers” in the national geological exploration industry, awarded by the former Ministry of Land and Resources (2015)

· High-Level Scientific and Technological Leader of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force (2017)

· Awarded the Personal Third-Class Merit three times in 1997, 2002, and 2016, and repeatedly honored as a “Specialized Technical Model” by the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force Headquarters, the former Golden Command of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force, and the China Gold Association.

Dr. Qing serves as a seasoned geologist with both profound academic expertise and extensive practical experience. Through his solid theoretical foundation and successful mineral exploration, Qing has built a technical bridge between scientific research and field applications for the company, providing crucial technical support for resource exploration efforts.
